Goa | Top 3 Favorites!

Hey Guys,

I know I haven't blogged recently that's because I have been away for a week vacationing and soaking in the Sun on the beautiful beaches of Goa! :) Blogging on the fabulous week that went by...

Here are my top 3 favorites from the trip ...

1. Fresh Orange Juice 

Location: Jazz Corner 

Candolim, North Goa 

Jazz Corner is a cute little roadside shack  in Candolim, North Goa where you get the most amazing prawn curry and fresh orange juice. I absolutely loved dinner here. The live music that was playing was definitely an added bonus to making the night absolutely wonderful. 

2. Second up is Strawberry Martini 

Location: Thalasaa (Absolutely DIVINE!)

Vagator, North Goa

This is the hands down winner for me for the trip. Thalasa is the famous sun set point shack restaurant in Vagator, North Goa. The best food I have eaten in Goa so far is at Thalasa! 

Absolutely recommended to any one who visits Goa. 

3. Breakfast at Lila Cafe. 

Baga River 

North Goa 

Scrumptious breakfast and family time at Lila Cafe'. This is my family guys L-R Dad Bhai Mum n me. They make the yummiest cheese omelette and croissant ever! Dad and me decided to binge post breakfast on a dessert whose photograph I didn't not click and whose name I forget now. But oh my gosh guys it was mmm amazing!!!

Nail-ed!

It's a beautiful sunshine winter afternoon in Gurgaon today. It's my day off from the Nail Bar and I'll be sharing with you all my favourite Gel Nail Art designs that we have created over the month gone by.

Lush-ed!

Oblivious to the fact that LUSH opened in Select City Walk in Saket in the year 2008, I recently set foot in the paradise! :) I am so excited to share with you the products that I bought from LUSH- Fresh Handmade Cosmetics during the week gone by. Please excuse me as this blog might become a little long-ish :(

Happiness is ...

First up 

Rock Star Soap

108 gms for Rs. 324 

It's a bathing soap which is freshly made out of Strawberry and Vanilla organic essence. Recommended for people with dry skin. Best till about 4 months after the purchase. It's fragrance is Absolutely Divine!

The next product which I think is an absolute genius is ...

Peace Massage Bar 

1peice for Rs. 960

Made with organic cocoa butter and shea butter the Peace Massage bar is soaked in Olive Oil. It's a ready to have hydrating moisturiser which can be applied and massaged onto the skin after bath. Best till about 4 months after the purchase. It lacks in fragrance though. 

The next 2 products I was absolutely sold on are -- Angels on bare skin and Oatiface face mask. 

Angels on bare skin 

102 gms for Rs. 596

 A face wash for dry skin rich in ground almonds and lavender it's a moisturising treat for dry skin. 

Application- Take a peanut amount, make a paste and rub it in circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Best with a month after the purchase. 

Oatifix face mask

102 gms for Rs 561

The product is a face mask for dry skin made with fine oatmeal and fresh organic bananas. Will not rave about the product because you'll know how brilliant and hydrating and flowing it leaves your skin once you purchase it!

The last product was given as a freebie for the X amount of purchases made and it is 

The Mask of Magnaminity 

125 gms for Rs. 800

 A peppermint face and back mask for mix skin type. Haven't tried this one. Will review it once used up. 

I hope this Haul was fun and informative for you all.. I had a blast shopping and treating myself. Please let me know if you have already used these products or there are some better skin care products for Dry Skin that you all would recommend. Will do a review of these products towards the end of the year December 2013 and share my overall Lush experience with you all!

A Whole New World ❤️

Hey Guys, 

I am Shivika Sharman from Gurgaon, India. I am super excited as this is my first blog! I'll quickly tell you about myself- A graduate in English (Hons) from Lady  Ram College I went on to study an MBA in Human Resources. Having worked in the Learning and Development function in an organization called Indus Towers I realized that there was much more that I wanted to discover about myself and about life. 

Currently I have a Nail Bar on Sohna Road by the name TEN - The Nail Spa and I absolutely love working here. 

We do gel nails, nail extensions and nail art! It is super fun and I love meeting interesting and lovely people like you everyday! 

Creativity is contagious guys!  :)

PS- I have to admit it took me a lot of strength to blog. I was scared for some odd reason. 

But then a friend inspired me to Blog and I am sharing what he shared with me. 

Also my blog's will stem out of my personal experiences and events. There is no particular theme to them.
